Valencia most recently featured for Panama's U-23 friendly against Mexico on September 6, 2024, and September 9, 2024. The defender previously appeared for Panama's U-20’s during 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, where he made four appearances.

Valencia made his Panamanian National Team debut on June 11, 2022 in a friendly against Uruguay. Valencia was also featured in Panama’s 2024 Copa America team appearing as a sub in Panama’s match against Colombia. He became the first active MLS NEXT Pro player to appear in a Copa America. Valencia featured for the Panama at the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League and was a member of the team that placed second.
