VIDEO: The Hex - USMNT falls in Costa Rica, prepares for showdown with Mexico | SIDELINE

Kick TV's The Hex

When the US national team walked into Estadio Nacional in San Jose, Costa Rica on Friday night — falling 3-1 to Costa Rica in the two sides' latest World Cup qualifying match and extending a record of having never beaten Costa Rica away — the Ticos had only two things on their mind: revenge, and three points.

As you watch the latest episode of KICKTV's video series, "The Hex," you see that they got both — their version of payback for March's "Snow Game" in Denver in way of the 3-1 victory — and suddenly find themselves atop the Hexagonal stage of CONCACAF's World Cup qualification. As demonstrated in the footage of fans and locals ahead of the game, Estadio Nacional was an absolute lion's den on Friday night, and the USMNT walked in unsuspecting and unprepared for what was to come.

Tha game now behind them, focus now shifts to Tuesday night's rivalry matchup against Mexico in Columbus, Ohio, and the glut of USMNT players suspended for the game due to yellow card accumluation — Matt Besler, Geoff Cameron and Jozy Altidore.

Can the USMNT overcome those suspensions, the injury absence of leader Michael Bradley, the earth-crashing result in San Jose on Friday, and find a way to continue the string of "Dos A Cero" (2-0) results against Mexico in Columbus?
