MLS Preseason 2020: Minnesota United drop Charleston Battery to remain unbeaten

Minnesota United remained unbeaten this preseason after stepping up in class to defeat the USL League Championship's Charleston Battery 3-2 on Wednesday, their first game against pro opposition.

Hassani Dotson and Robin Lod each scored stylish first-half goals and Thomas Chacon provided the winner after the break for the Loons, who had opened their preseason with a 5-0 win over Florida International University.

So far, Minnesota's eight preseason goals have come from seven different players — including a brace in the opener from Mason Toye.
