Alan Kelly has been named as the referee for MLS Cup for a second time, and will take the whistle for Saturday's match between Atlanta United and the Portland Timbers.
Kelly, the 2018 MLS Referee of the Year, also refereed 2016 MLS Cup, won on penalties by the Seattle Sounders over Toronto FC. Referee of the Year finalist Nima Saghafi will be the fourth official for the game.
While Kelly takes charge of the proceedings on the field, Chris Penso will handle all Video Review proceedings as the Video Assistant Referee.
