The LA Galaxy played their first match at Dignity Health Sports Park in 2019 and tied Toronto FC 1-1 with two second-half own goals accounting for all the scoring.
A Rolf Feltscher backward header was inadvertently redirected into the Toronto net by TFC's Terique Mohammed, while a Richie Laryea cross was deflected into the LA goal by Galaxy defender Dave Romney.
Diego Polenta, Uriel Antuna and Emil Cuello made their LA Galaxy debuts, while Ola Kamara, Sebastian Lletget, Giovani dos Santos, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic sat out the match.
Terrence Boyd made his Toronto FC debut and played 62 minutes, while Michael Bradley, who is coming off USMNT January camp, went the full 90.
Toronto FC have one final preseason match on Feb. 12 vs. Colorado in Chula Vista before kicking off their Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 series on Feb. 19 against Independiente La Chorrera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy will host the Vancouver Whitecaps (Feb. 16) and the Colorado Rapids (Feb. 23) to close out their preseason.
