The current offseason – the longest in quite some time – officially came to a close this past weekend for five of MLS's 26 teams, the five that will be playing in the Concacaf Champions League next month. Atlanta, LAFC, Seattle, NYCFC and Montreal all started camp on Saturday, January 11.
The other 21 teams will start their official camps on this coming Saturday, January 18.
With two new teams, plenty of new managers and a fairly staggering transfer outlay before the window has even opened, it's time to ask one big question for each of the 26 MLS teams.
Bear in mind it's not necessarily the big question I'm positing here. But sometimes, in the long run, a big question can be just as determinative of long-term success.
