Columbus (2023): The Columbus Crew acquired forward Christian Ramirez from Aberdeen F.C. of the Scottish Premiership. Ramirez made his Crew debut against Atlanta United (March 25), where he scored a brace in the 6-1 home win for the Black & Gold. Ramirez went on to score a goal in a 2-0 away win against D.C. United (April 8). Ramirez scored a brace and recorded an assist against Charlotte FC (June 3) in a 4-2 home win. Ramirez went on to score three goals in four matches for the Black & Gold in the months of June and July, as well as scoring two goals in Leagues Cup against Club America and Minnesota United. In the postseason, Ramirez made five appearances, scoring two goals, which included the game winners against Orlando City SC in the Eastern Conference Semifinals and FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference Final on the lead up to the Crew’s third MLS Cup victory.

Aberdeen F.C. (2021-23): Christian Ramirez made 45 appearances for the Dons, scoring ten goals in the Scottish Premiership.

Houston Dynamo (2021): Christian Ramirez made six appearances for Houston and registered one goal, which came against the Colorado Rapids (May 15).

Houston Dynamo (2020): Ramirez made 15 appearances and recorded two goals in the regular season, the goals coming against Sporting Kansas City (August 25) and the Colorado Rapids (September 9).

Houston Dynamo/Los Angeles Football Club (2019): Christian Ramirez started the 2019 MLS season with the Los Angeles Football Club, appearing in 17 matches (13 starts), registering four goals and two assists for LAFC in the regular season. Ramirez was acquired by the Houston Dynamo on August 7 via a trade. The forward went on to make 10 appearances (seven starts) and netted five goals to finish off the regular season.

Los Angeles Football Club/Minnesota United FC (2018): The American forward started the 2018 season with Minnesota United, appearing in 20 matches (17 starts), registering seven goals and two assists for the Loons. Ramirez was acquired by the Los Angeles Football Club on August 6. The forward score two goals in seven appearances for LAFC. Ramirez also made a postseason appearance for LAFC, scoring one goal against Real Salt Lake (November 1).

Minnesota United FC (2017): In Minnesota United and Christian Ramirez’s first season in MLS, he made 30 appearances (27 starts), while registering 14 goals and three assists in the regular season.

Outside MLS: Ramirez began his professional career in USL with the Charlotte Eagles in 2013. He scored 12 goals that season, en route to a USL Championship matchup against Orlando City. Ramirez was forced into an immediate starting role before the start of the 2014 season with the Loons, as he scored 20 goals that year and earned him his first of two Golden Boot awards with the Loons. Ramirez proved to be one of the most valuable players on the Loons’ roster during his career. He made 92 consecutive appearances across all competitions for Minnesota, missing just one game due to injury in the 2016 season.
