PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2024 (FC Dallas): Arriola appeared in 34 matches (31 starts) for Dallas in his final year with the club, scoring five goals and tallying eight assists, including two assists against Minnesota United in a 5-3 win (June 19).
2023 (FC Dallas): Arriola made 28 appearances (23 starts) for Dallas in 2023, scoring three goasl and recording seven assists, including his first postseason goal in Dallas’ Round One playoff series against Seattle (November 4).
2022 (FC Dallas): Arriola was traded to FC Dallas prior to the start of the 2022 season. He made 34 appearances (31 starts) for Dallas in his first year with the club, scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists. He was named a 2022 MLS All-Star for his performance during the season as well as MLS Player of the Month for May. He also appeared in two 2022 World Cup qualifying matches, scoring a goal against Panama (March 28) as well as two 2022-2023 Concacaf Nations League matches, scoring against Grenada (June 11).
2021 (D.C. United / Swansea City): Arriola was loaned to England’s Swansea City prior to the 2021 season, staying with the team until March 31, 2021. He made three appearances in all competitions for Swansea before returning to D.C. after suffering a hamstring strain. He made 20 appearances (19 starts) with D.C. United in his last season for the club, scoring six goals and adding four assists. The winger made four appearances (all starts) in the U.S. Men’s National Team’s title-winning 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup run, in addition to appearing in three 2022 World Cup qualifying matches.
2020 (D.C. United): Arriola suffered a torn ACL prior to the 2020 season and only appeared in one match for D.C. United during the season, playing 21 minutes against CF Montréal (November 8).
2019 (D.C. United): Arriola scored six goals and tallied two assists in 30 appearances (29 starts) with D.C. United in 2019. He started all five of his appearances in the USMNT’s 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup campaign, scoring against Guyana (June 19) and Trinidad & Tobago (June 23). He also appeared in four matches (two starts) in the nation’s title-winning 2019-2020 Concacaf Nations League tournament run.
2018 (D.C. United): Arriola made 30 appearances (27 starts) in his first full season with D.C. United, scoring seven goals and tallying eight assists. He made one appearance in the club’s 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup run, playing 61 minutes against North Carolina FC.
2017/2018 (Club Tijuana / D.C. United): Arriola appeared in two matches (two starts) for Tijuana, scoring two goals before he was transferred to D.C. United on August 9. The winger went on to make 11 appearances for the MLS side over the rest of the season, scoring one goal and adding two assists. He helped the United States win the 2017 Concacaf Gold Cup, making five appearances (four starts) throughout the tournament, in addition to appearing in five matches (four starts) in 2018 World Cup qualifying matches.
2016/2017 (Club Tijuana): Arriola made 39 appearances (21 starts) for Tijuana during his last full season with the Liga MX side, scoring four goals. He appeared in two games for the USMNT in 2018 World Cup qualifying matches, scoring a goal against Trinidad & Tobago (September 7).
2015/2016 (Club Tijuana): Arriola made 38 appearances (16 starts) for Tijuana, scoring three goals, including 11 appearances (eight starts) in Tijuana’s Copa MX run where he scored two goals. He also made his debut for the U.S. Men’s National Team, scoring in a friendly against Puerto Rico (May 22).
2014/2015 (Club Tijuana): Arriola 13 appearances (four starts) for Tijuana during the 2014/2015 season.
2013/2014 (LA Galaxy II / Club Tijuana): Arriola made one substitute appearance for LA Galaxy II (April 15, 2013) before signing with Club Tijuana on July 1, 2013. He made 22 appearances (nine starts) for the Liga MX side during the 2013-2014 season in all competitions, scoring three goals.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Arriola played with the United States Men’s Youth National Team in the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, starting all three of his appearances during the tournament. The winger also played for the United States at the U-20 and U-23 levels, also starting all four of his appearances at the 2015 U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
In 2016, Arriola scored in his debut for the senior U.S. Men’s National Team in a friendly against Puerto Rico (May 22, 2016). He has gone on to make a total 50 international appearances (34 starts), scoring 10 goals. He was on the Concacaf Gold Cup-winning squads in both 2017 and 2021, making five appearances (four starts) in 2017 before starting all four of his appearances in 2021. The winger helped the U.S. win the 2019-2020 Concacaf Nations League, appearing in four matches (two starts) during the tournament. Arriola also made five appearances (three starts) during the USMNT’s successful FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring a goal in a 5-1 win over Panama (March 28, 2022).
