The MLS Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday issued four fines and one warning ahead of Week 9 of the 2018 MLS regular season.
Vancouver, Sporting KC violation of mass confrontation policy
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found both Sporting Kansas City and Vancouver Whitecaps in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy during the 36th minute of the teamsā match on April 20. The committee has issued an undisclosed fine to both the Vancouver Whitecaps and coach Carl Robinson for the clubās second violation of league policy this season. Sporting KC has been issued a warning for the clubās first violation this season.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Vancouver defender Kendall Waston for his role in instigating and escalating the mass confrontation incident.
In addition, Whitecaps midfielders Efrain Juarez and Yordy Reyna have been issued undisclosed fines for failure to leave the field in an orderly manner during the 36th minute.
