Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber’s Contract Extended Through 2023 Season
NEW YORK (February 14, 2019) –
Major League Soccer announced today that Commissioner Don Garber’s contract has been extended through the 2023 MLS season. The MLS Board of Governors recently approved the new five-year agreement.
Since he became Commissioner in 1999, MLS has expanded from 12 to 27 clubs, added 25 new owners, and developed 19 soccer stadiums in the United States and Canada.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
