It might not have stood as the game-winner, but fans voted Maxim Tissot's long-range strike as the Week 9 winner of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week.

Tissot opened his season account in the 50th minute of the Montreal Impact's 2-2 draw vs. the Colorado Rapids, temporarily giving the Canadian club the lead when he hit a gorgeous, low shot from distance that found the bottom right corner of the net.

Tissot's finish beat out David Villa's impressive scissor kick in the final round of Week 9 voting. Other players who were in contention for the honors were Didier Drogba and Simon Dawkins.
