Chief Business Officer
Camilo Durana is the Chief Business Officer at Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), where he oversees the Marketing, Media, Technology, Match Promotion, and Events & Hospitality departments, as well as the management of Leagues Cup and SUM’s partnerships with the Federación Mexicana de Futbol, Liga MX and Concacaf.
Prior to joining MLS/SUM, he served as the Global Director of Budweiser Sports and Entertainment at AB InBev, focused on the development of the Budweiser brand’s global sports and entertainment campaigns, including FIFA World Cup, FA Cup, branded entertainment and global music programming. Prior to that, he helped build the Multicultural Marketing practice at Octagon Worldwide, consulting for a U.S. and Latin America-based client roster.
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Camilo and his family reside in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
