AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 22
Barely half a day remains in the Week 22 AT&T Goal of the Week race, and it's hard to see anyone unseating Real Salt Lake hitman Alvaro Saborio for top honors.
The Costa Rican's wonderfully inventive chipped poke past New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles holds a commanding lead of nearly 25 percentage points over its nearest competitor, Montreal Impact rookie Blake Smith's injury-time strike over Sporting Kansas City.
RBNY midfielder Dax McCarty's brave diving header is running in third place, followed by late game-winners from Toronto FC's Andrew Wiedeman and Philadelphia Union supersub Antoine Hoppenot, respectively.
